WORD MISSIONS

ITS OK IF I ONLY TORCH 1 OR 2 BY MY LIFETIME OF MINISTRY

ITS OK IF I ONLY TORCH 1 OR 2 BY MY LIFETIME OF MINISTRY! EVEN THAT CAN MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD!!!

One lit candle in a world of pervasive darkness is much better than 10 million decorative un-lit candles. He never said to go make a popular showing of myself so I could gather a crowd, he only showed me a vision that I can light a candle that could light another one, for a better world. When my one lit candle lights another, and that other lights another, and that progressively continues, then I would have succeeded in raising leading lights all across the globe, by God. All I need to have succeeded in my ministry is to have a candle light that remains lit, lighting others, even when I am gone. That one candle light represent a soul saved, transformed, and continuously on fire for God by Christ JESUS. I do not need huge structures, I do not need a retinue of staff, I do not need a boast of global offices, all I need is to effectively keep a light aglow that will light others, and then I am all good.

I may not be as comfortable as I needed to be, I may not be as able as to afford all I want. I may not even be in such physical conditions to command flattering respect of men. He never said His purpose for me is about my conveniences, He only promised to never leave nor forsake me as I obey. It is reasonable to boast of a vast reach of people in ministry, but it is more significant when 1 or 2 reached, make significant difference in a world of increasing perversion and unrighteousness.

John the Baptist, reached many cities and the citizens for God, but one JESUS made an eternal world of difference from among them all. Elijah had listening ears of his presidency and country, but only one, following Elisha, and two anointed kings made a world of difference after he was gone. JESUS’ physical ministry reached tens of thousands in his lifetime, but less than one dozen men and women made an eternal difference out of them all.

Someone could pray with me saying: “Lord JESUS, I thank you for the honor and privilege of being called to serve your kingdom. I receive the right priorities for your divine call on my life. Help me to remain focused on what matters most to you. Help me to achieve the difference in this world for which you called me into ministry. In JESUS name I prayed. Amen.”
