Life in Christ can be approached in one of two ways: 1. as a slave-delivered or 2. as a saint-empowered. A slave-delivered functions from the perspective of past nature to beg for the present and presents, while the empowered-saint functions from present provisions in Christ, to live the life in Christ for which he or she was delivered to achieve. The first functions from the past while the second works to the future. A Christian is not delivered to beg in Christ, we were delivered to achieve on behalf of Christ!
Someone need to say to him/herself: "I am delivered, to achieve in Christ. I refuse to be overwhelmed by prevailing circumstances of my life, I choose to overcome all contrary things in my life because of Christ that lives in me, By divine provisions of Christ, I overcome! In JESUS name" Amen & amen!
